Powis Street, Woolwich
Studio Bosk have been appointed as delivery Landscape Architects for the redevelopment of Woolwich Town Centre, including the renowned Powis Street High Street. We collaborated with key stakeholders to create a proposal that focuses on revitalising the dated public realm, creating a thriving destination and a flexible civic space that is airy and open. The proposal reduces vehicular access, introducing new surface finishes, raised planters with integrated seating, and additional functional areas for the public to enjoy beneath the existing mature trees.
